If a magnetic field is created as current flows, the strength of this magnetic field can
therefore be increased by increasing one of the factors that causes the field to develop.
To make the magnetic field stronger you could:
 

• Increase current flow by using a higher voltage.
• Use a larger conductor.
• Wrap the conductor into a coil, therefore concentrating the magnetic field.
• Wrap the conductor around an iron core, thereby retaining the magnetic

• Laminate the iron core - producing a better retention of the magnetic field.

• Use a stronger magnetic field.
• Use a larger conductor.
• Wrap the conductor into a coil to concentrate the induced current.
• Increase the rate of movement of the conductor or magnetic field.
